Midas may be small, but he has a huge personality and isn't afraid of much. He's managed to wrastle the larger Scarborough into being his best friend. Despite the plains Esk's nervous disposition and reluctance to leave his boundary, Midas and he became fast friends and Scar clearly trusts the tiny grape Esk. They're nearly inseparable despite the estrangement and distance between their biomes and boundaries. They take turns in each other's boundaries because of this.
